My Style Stamps DT Project Beach Bum

Hi Everyone!  So I've decided Beach Bum is my favorite!!!  Here's why...

Isn't she cute!?!  So here's what I did...she is on a 5x5 corrugated card base, the cloud background was done using the Inky Antics cloud stencil and Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Broken China, the sand is just some craft card stock and the beach scene is a boarder piece from the 8x8 American Traditional Designs "Beach Fun" pad.  The bucket is also from that pad.  I used my circle cutter to cut out two sun shapes at 1 1/2" and 1 3/4".  The smaller circle I stamped Beach Bum and added a fish from the paper pad and the larger circle I covered in some Studio G yellow craft glue that I also used to make the rays of the sun.  The smaller circle I popped up on some foam tape to add some dimension.

Isn't she cute!!  I colored her skin with Copics E00, E11, and R20.  I paper pieced her swimming suit with paper from the DCWV Everyday Stack and her head band is just some hot pink card stock and some green and yellow for the flower.  I added white Enamel Accents to the flower center and to her necklace to make it look like pearls.  Her hair is paper pieced with some brown card stock and then I went in with markers in Chestnut, Brown Sugar, and Chocolate to add some depth (is that the work I want to use?)  I colored the flip flops in with the color Taffy from American Crafts.

I love how her beach towel turned out!  I stamped it in VersaMark ink and embossed it with American Crafts Zing embossing powder in the color Powder.  I colored in the flowers with yellow and taffy and paper pieced it on.  So simple!

I love the card and I love that you explain how you did it with sizes, and punches, etc.
